        asc-tool.exe : do raw flip of ascii pictures
        tr.exe       : unix character translation tool
        sed.exe      : unix stream editor
        lr.bat       : flip ascii picture left-right
        tb.bat       : flip ascii picture top-bottom
        cw90.bat     : rotate clockwise 90 degrees
        ccw90.bat    : rotate counter-clockwise 90 degrees

[][ they'll work to some-extent the way you always wanted...

[][ the batch files have some severe limitations tho' since
[][ the quote-char and the vertical-bar character seem to
[][ fail when embedded in quoted strings in a pipeline.
