Because the two little o's resemble an eye and a nose, I had first
thought that the dog was facing to the right. It isn't, though, else
where would the side of its face be? But it does look kind of like a
bear with its mouth open! Even the three backslashes in the muzzle
lool like a natural wrinkling that might occur if its mouth were open
in a snarl (or is it a grin?)! And it looks like the hair around his
mouth is straggling like it was wet, like he had just nosing about
in a river for salmon and lifted his head for a look around. My
imagination is starting to take off! Love it!

Are the two slashes /\ above the quote-level dots supposed to be an
ear? I didn't see the original. Is the spelling COTTIE OG intentional
for some reason? How could both initial letters go missing accidentally?

Maybe the original artist could repost this, correcting anything that
wasn't intended. How about more of the body? It's pretty good (if I
would just look at it the right way around!).
