That's a trajectory generated by a nonlinear 2D map. Perhaps I need to
add a possibility to change parameters, initial conditions, symbol(s)
used etc, as the pictures produced are interesting and very different
from one another. I know because I published papers on properties of
this map.

There is some animation effect on NC 4.5 as the iterations appear
consequently and quickly. IE calculates all points and then puts them on
a screen as a whole; so one do not see any motion until it finishes
(also it takes time). I've seen several Javascripts with layers and most
of them look different on NC and IE.

A similar form of text art is on the Meph's page (Mandelbrott's
fractals). It also deals with nonlinear dynamics, but it's implemented
rather differently.
