Actually it's not because the Dilbert cartoon character is draw WITHOUT pupils and mouth.. so altough you're alteration may look more natural to you , it makes the picture look less like Dilbert. Besides .. IF Dilbert were to have a mouth I hardly think he would smile. He would just go around with a puzzled or monotone look on his face .. the way he is draw now (without pupils and mouth) gives exactly that impression.
