I think that I'm going to do a serious bit of programming next weekend...
I want to do ascii-animations, but I find copy-paste routines tiresome.
I think it is time for a colour-ascii-anim.exe
Plans for this are the following...
Platform: Windows 95 or later (made in VB)
Accept pastes from notepad.
Allow any number of frames (same dimensions).
Allow duplicate frame, move frame, etc...
Allow copy-paste of areas...
Fill with spaces at all times, but clean for export.
Allow colouring operations... like select multiple cells, and recolor.
Import from txt
Export to HTML (javascript)
Export to txt (for pgDown Trick)
Export in colour, or export in B&W
Alter speed, delay for individual frame, repeat frames, etc...
ASCII check... remove ALL non-ascii characters.
Anybody have any suggestions that I should include/not include?
Has anybody already done this (which will save me the bother)?
