That's one reason why he and his trolls are more difficult to
eliminate than usual.

But the real weakness is the lack of firm resolve by all the
newsgroup's readers and the constant influx of uninformed newcomers
to alt.ascii-art, which ppears very early in the usual lists of
newsgroups on offer.

Only a newsgroup's readers can eliminate trolls and newsgroup
invasions effectively.

Anti-troll measures in the past were indeed beginning to work well
but...as Veronica Karlsson wrote...a crop of newcomers came to the
newsgroup and earlier successes were negated by their ignorance of
the Stein War problem.

In this current outbreak I entered the Stein War instead of ignoring it
as I did in some earlier outbreaks and of course as a result I have
attracted plenty of flames to myself. That must be expected by anyone
getting involved in flame wars...you get burnt! *8-)

PC's track record since coming to this newsgroup repeatedly shows
that this frequent claim of his that he wants to "just post his
cartoons in peace" is completely false.

He usually produces his peace claim when a Steinwar outbreak is
becoming too hot for his personal comfort. His peace pleas are
totally disingenuous designed to reduce the heat.

What's missing from his peace claims are the words "on Mr. Casso's
terms and conditions only."

As soon as he decides someone has not met his terms and conditions
he complains and accuses people of all sorts of things including
breaches of copyright, breaches of personal non-criticism agreements
and all manner of misdoings.

He hopes that in persuading people to put him in their killfiles
that they will no longer actually sight what undesirable things he
is doing here in this newsgroup...unless some other reader not using a
killfile/filter sees and challenges his actions and activities.

You may choose to buy that situation in this newsgroup...but I don't!
