HERE IS A RECENT WRITE UP FROM The Online Magazine:

The GNOCP (Global Network Of Creative Producers) is the premier
creative directory on the World Wide Web. It is an Information
Technology center for the Special Event, Meeting Planning, Hospitality,
Art, Music and Entertainment industries. A location on the Internet to
showcase your products and services to the world. Your local associates
can see you just as simple as your future International clients can.
Promoters, Producers, Meeting planners, nows your chance to open up
that International market youve always dreamed of exploring!

Even though there is constant work being done on the site to ready it
for a national announcement at an Internet convention in San Francisco
on July 11th, it is still a site to see. Some of the links that are not
working one day seem to be up the next and the large graphics seem to
move fairly quickly. But even the graphics arent a bother- there is so
much to see and read youre never bored.

The site has been up for over two years, previously test marketed in
Europe. Then it was moved to the States, revamped, and a Beta Test
began. About a month ago it was soft released for a third time and its
4th generation design was finalized. The public release will be in
July. It is constructed with an enormous amount of detail and is
destined to be THE directory for public relations, marketing
communications directors, meeting planners, special event designers and
a plethora of organizers and producers. This site is constantly growing
and according to the creators of the GNOCP, they have no plans to slow
it down. We urge you to take a peak at this incredible site and
bookmark it for future use. The plans they have will Rock your World
Wide Web socks off!

GNOCP LISTSERV:

This message will detail the GNOCP (Global Network Of Creative
Producers) projects listserv info. This is a project to specifically
help people get involved with one of these industries. It can help you
find a job, assist you with a project, help your band get recognized,
give you more information on marketing your industry related product or
service. We look forward to your participation in this exciting history
making project.

Hello everyone, your first step to getting involved with the GNOCP is to
get online... Now that you have accomplished that feat, the next step
is to join the GNOCP listserv.
It is quite simple to do just read on and follow the instructions.

Here is the listserv info:

Majordomo address: # lis...@netcom.com
List posting address: # gno...@netcom.com
For help w/ commands: # lis...@netcom.com (in the body of text type
"help")
To talk with a human: # fho...@netcom.com or inf...@aol.com

To be added to the list, to subscribe, the user sends an email message
and in the body of the message the exact text as it is shown below.
This messge should be sent to the Majordomo address above:

    subscribe gnocp-l (your email address)

The subject line should be left blank. If your service doesn't allow for
this type "subscribe gnocp-l" in the subject line too, hopefully it will
work. If not email the human for more assistance.

Once Majordomo has confirmed your subscription you can begin to Post and
receive messages. Use the above posting address to send ALL mail
messages to the list. Once you subscribe you will receive a Welcome
Message, this has everything you will need to use the listserv and
learn about the GNOCP if you dont already know it.

We appreciate your involvement and look forward to seeing you grow as
your industry grows. The Internet will play a major role in that
growth, not just for you but for your entire industry.

For all of you curious types, Majordomo is an automated mailing list
management
program. Majordomo can be programmed to be fully automated or mostly
manual. This is an open list which is completely unmoderated (all
messages are automatically posted). As the list grows we will create
new lists by branching off into other segments of the GNOCP. Thank you
for your interest and support.
