Ranma 1/2

avaible on the net probably better than these)
The images are not the top you can ask since they are taken from the cartoon
series while it would be much better to have the manga anyway here I go:

Following there is a short description of what the manga is about so that it
might be easier to understand who is shown in the images:

Ranma 1/2 is the title of the manga series by Rumiko Takahashi and the
animated series based on it. The story follows the comic problems of 16 year
old martial artist in training, Ranma Saotome, a victim of a strange curse
from falling into a cursed pool: whenever he gets wet he turns into a girl.
(That's the redhead in the center of the picture.) Hot water returns him to
being a boy. It could be worse, his father turns into a panda when he gets
wet. His father has arranged a marriage for Ranma with the daughter of fellow
martial artist. Akane Tendo (lower right) is a martial artist in training
herself and hates boys. For Ranma and Akane, it's hate at first sight. Throw
in lots of other strange characters and things get even more interesting.
There's Kuno (upper left) head bully of the high school who loves Akane, but
falls in love with the female Ranma. Then there's Ryoga (on the left edge),
who has followed Ranma since junior high because of a grudge. He is in love
with Akane and wants to kill Ranma. But Ryoga also fell in a cursed pool and
he turns into a piglet when he gets wet. Akane, not realizing this is the
transformed Ryoga, adopts the cute little as a pet and names it P-Chan (the
black pig Akane is holding). Ranma is honor-bound not to reveal this secret,
much as he would like to. Then there is Shampoo (the girl with the purple
hair at the bottom of the picture), another martial artist from China. She
was defeated by Ranma in his female form, so she has travelled to Japan to
kill the female Ranma. She doesn't know about Ranma's secret and falls madly
in love with the male Ranma. Oh, and she also happened to fall into one of
those cursed pools. She turns into a cat when she gets wet. Guess which
animal Ranma is phobic about? This isn't a love triangle; a diagram of these
relationships looks like an NFL play analysis.
