REQ: Supermouse

REQ: Supermouse

Hi,
I've joined this group fairly recently, but I've seen enough to know that there
are a lot of really good artists out there.
Would anyone be so kind as to give me some suggestions as to how I would go
about doing one of a mouse, wearing a superman style cape (reasons I want this
available on request). I've tried drawing it normally, but eventually decided
that my line drawing is terrible.
So that narrows it down to ascii art. Any tips, or even (hope!) examples would
be much appreciated.

TIA
