O=>'O ,.,.,.,...,., (e-mail: osc...@transvaal.idn.nl) not that you asked for it, but here is some VT animation I wrote including a bicycle riding across the top of the screen. This is a .com file, so do not 'type' it to see it. Name the file bike.com, then to fire it up type @bike. Hope you like it. I have it set up to run just by typing 'b' from the command prompt. Its great fun to punch it up while someone is staring at my screen trying to figure something out. Enjoy! $ DISPLAY := WRITE SYS$OUTPUT $ ESC[0,8] = %X1B $ CSI = ESC + "[" $ HOME = CSI + "1;1H" $ ESCAPE[0,7] = 27 $ logo = ">>> Anything worth doing is worth doing to excess..... >-----------" $ p1 = 0 $ top_of_loop: $ p1 = p1 + 1 $ logo_bit = f$extract( 67 - 'p1', 67 ,logo) + " _=|<,_" $ DISPLAY CSI + "1;''p1'H " , " __o " $ DISPLAY CSI + "2;0H " , logo_bit $ DISPLAY CSI + "3;''p1'H " , " (+)|o(+)" $ p1 = p1 + 1 $ logo_bit = f$extract( 67 - 'p1', 67 ,logo) + " _=\<,_" $ DISPLAY CSI + "1;''p1'H " , " __o " $ DISPLAY CSI + "2;0H " , logo_bit $ DISPLAY CSI + "3;''p1'H " , " (*)/o(*)" $ if 'p1 .le. 64 $ then goto top_of_loop $ else $ stop
