 I somehow started reading this - and there are a some little things,
that bugs me: (I hope you don't mind me pointing them out...)

 ... the same goes here - but this might work, for . in a
directory-place links to the directory itself usually. Should be removed
nevertheless.

 You should point out that the signature delimeters should be '-- '
(dash dash space) and not only '--' as written in son-of-1036. This
is really a bigger problem to loads of software that were written
RFC-conform and parses '-- ' only (is there software that parses '--',
too?) and can do several things with the signature then (cut it off for
answers automatically, colorize it different, ...).

 ... not only e-mail messages. This is news:alt.ascii-art, isn't it? And
there are important differences between e-mail and usenet (not just on
the technical side).

 There are more URLs with a dot at the end - I'd sugguest you to drop
that ones.

 I hope that you didn't mind me commenting on this, but this really
bugged me :)
