We just downloaded a very nice replacement for Window95 notepad:

EditPad (is copyright (C) 1996,1997, by Jan Goyvaerts.)

It has a very handy "find and replace" feature among other things. It is
FAR superior to notepad.

The following is from the information on EditPad and tells how much it
costs:

: EditPad is postcardware. [snip] you must "pay" by sending the author
: a nice postcard [snip] from your home town [snip] Electronic postcards
: and the like are not accepted. You have to send a real one through
: snail-mail.

NOTE: If you hit the reply button, add an "e" to the "freent";
its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers.
