dear ascii artists,
i just wanted to say that i really enjoy all of your work. i began
searching out ascii for my friends who did not have graphics programs
and im an artist so i am email-graphic-friendly. so using ascii and
figlets, i have opened up this world to them as well. i have spent
endless hours looking at collections on the net and am incredibly
inspired to try my hand at ascii. i have noticed that some of you seem
to compare your styles to others and find disappointment in your own
efforts. i would like to extend feedback and say that all of it is
wonderful. from emoticons to photo-ascii, i found the personality of
its creator refreshing, the variety endless, and the generosity to
share welcome. i especially enjoyed the younger kids efforts too since
their perspective is so different from an adults (so, zoe whispers...
encourage your children to create ascii <GG>!). thank you for sharing.
