.sig sized critters

After spending far too much time playing with my new .sig art, I
figured I'd share it with the people who might best appreciate it.
I've got it all on a (private) web page, and the text below is a
dump from Lynx's "print" command.

I'd be happy if anybody could take any of my "sitting" or my
"standing" critters and make some genuinely new animals in the
same style.  Only the ones that are a maximum of 4 characters tall
get to go on my web page though..

PS. MAN but doing .sig sized critters in ANY style is hard!

All the following ASCII figures are 100% original creations.  Permission
is granted to copy freely, so long as my initials remain intact.

Miscellaneous

First, the .sig creations.  Creating ASCII art for .signature files
takes special care, because the whole signature is limited to 4
characters in height, and you have to leave plenty of room for quotes
or other text.

Sitting Critters
----------------

The next grouping is of sitting critters.  The first one I did was
the Fox, and the rest are from diddling around with it, mostly to the
tails and ears.  But you'll notice little changes to the shoulders
and such too..

is my favorite..  There's not really much room for variety in here
though, basically all you've got to work with are the antlers and the

Why 'prs' for my initials you ask?  Hearken waaaaay back to about 1988
when I was still using local BBS's regularly, a local BBS operator wrote
his own BBS software called "Black Cat BBS", that allowed users to use
3-letter shortcuts to log in and send local mail, and 'prs' was short
for my Nick.  And I've used those initials ever since..
