It's all a bit of a pain because it depends how your newsreader's
posting set-up is configured and what right-hand margin you choose
for wordwrapping to begin on your Word Processor, Text Editor, or
whatever it is you use to type your messages and make your pictures.

I set my Word Processor to wordwrap to begin at column 68 ( the old
Wordstar default ). This will take care of word messages wand Ascii
pictures which get lots of quotation marks added at the left margin.

However some Ascii pictures are very wide and even exceed 80 columns
in width.

Example...the original Moox Brothers was 79 columns wide:

           )    (                         _
           (____)                        / \                 (__)   ==========I
          / =  = \    ~               =='   `==              (oo)    \ |||||| I
          (-O--O-)    ~                8 O O 8        /-------\/      \ ||||| I
           (    )     ~        /------- (   )        / |     ||__o=<   \ |||| I
  /------- ||||||======       / |     || \_/        *  ||----|          \ ||| I
 / |     ||  \/              *  ||----||               ~~    ~           \ || I
*  ||----||                     ~~    ~~
   ~~    ~~
     Groucho Moo-x                Chico                   Harpo

I use 2 posting agents nowadays:

- The TIN newsreader which my ISP has configured to wordwrap at 76
  columns and I cannot change that configuration. If I want to
  repost a wider picture then I have to find some way to reduce
  the original picture in width to 76 or less columns e.g.

Here is the Moox Brothers picture reduced to 75 columns from 79 by
removing spaces between each "person":

           )    (                       _
           (____)                      / \               (__)   ==========I
          / =  = \    ~             =='   `==            (oo)    \ |||||| I
          (-O--O-)    ~              8 O O 8      /-------\/      \ ||||| I
           (    )     ~      /------- (   )      / |     ||__o=<   \ |||| I
  /------- ||||||======     / |     || \_/      *  ||----|          \ ||| I
 / |     ||  \/            *  ||----||             ~~    ~           \ || I
*  ||----||                   ~~    ~~
   ~~    ~~
     Groucho Moo-x              Chico                 Harpo

- FREE AGENT newsreader in which I have the default setting of 76
  right-hand wordwrap but can change that to any width by changing
  the configuration setting and then change it back to the 76 default.
