slowmotion button?

Hello ascii-animators who actually understand JavaScript...

I'm trying to put a slowmotion section into an animation. I've stared at
CJRandall's code and finally managed to figure out how to get the
animation to start, stop and go step by step but I can't figure out how
to do a slow motion replay. Here is what I have: (I've used two frames
from my "Mr. ASCII-head plays one-on-one Basketball" animation)
