Colin, I believe that you got the numbers wrong here. Do you mind using the following instead? In the case of rec.arts.ascii, the moderator was Bob Allison (oth= erwise known as `Scarecrow'), and he retired from the job in June 1996. = The newsgroup was inactive from December 1996 until November 1997. Do= n Bertino (ber...@netcom.com) is at the helm as moderator. Post away. (Or at least change the 'November 1993' to the correct date, please!!) The above is the version Joan and I use on our sites. [snip] > \/_/ PS: Why do I see a *piano* whenever I look at llizard's sig? := -) Hey! Llizard, did you know that your sigs are mentioned in all those FAQ postings. :) Great, decades later people will have some sayings like 'that's as funny as llizard's sigs' and only a few will still remember where that came from. I'll be one of those who know! :) ( Andreas ( ) .___. ,-. __) NC + a:f \|/ //=3D=3D=3D\\ ,-' o `-!| .'+^+`. //=3D|_|=3D\\ ,-'---------`-. .'///|\\\`. //=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D\\ | [+] [+] | .-------------. //////|\\\\\\ //|||'"`|||\\ | ___ | < huff, puff > /((|||^..|||))\ |||||.^ ||||| | | | // `--v----------' ((|||(oo)|||) |||||o) ||||| | |' | |..~~~O { ~vv' ASCII Dictionary : | - http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise >O< Alt.Ascii-Art FAQ : - http://www.stud.uni-hannover.de/~freise/ascii/faq.html
