 The answer is, you can't.  Ascii art is made with PRINTABLE ASCII
 CHARACTERS, displayed in a mono-spaced, typewriter, font.  It has

 There is a wider alphabet called ANSI which has colour codes, but
 not everybody has it and anyway, it's not ascii.

 When you put ascii pictures into an HTML web-page, you can also
 use HTML commands to colorise them -- see examples on my website below.
