Got the proggie ASCTOOL2, many thanks - Good progress!

It works OK...sort of... but the "/" and "(" characters are
reversed. Looks like your mapping is the source of these reversals.
How can I change that to correct it?

Original:

\_/
      _____/ - - \
    /~____ \ ="= / -cfbd-
   (______)___w)w)

LR.BAT:

/_\
         \ - - /_____
-dbfc- / ="= \ ____~/
         )w)w___)______(

TB.BAT:

   (______)___w)w)
    /~____ \ ="= / -cfbd-
      _____/ - - \
\_/

Also, To improve the execution on my particular set-up I altered the batch
files to:

LR.BAT
asc-tool -mh %1 >> %1.out

TB.BAT
asc-tool -mv %1 >> %1.out

This allows me to feed MYCAT as the input file and feed all trial
outputs appending them into the one output file MYCAT.OUT
