The problem is that they're proportional typefaces ("m" wider that "i", others inbetween), whereas (spiffy spelling, eh?) the standard for message viewing is monospaced, where each character is given the same width. This is to emulate a text-mode in Windows. And so the people who *don't* have Windows can see them good. That's a whole lot of explanation you probably didn't want. Oh, well. Solution: When doing ASCII art in Windows, use Notepad, or use the font "Courier New". Simple, eh? As to the picture, well, I couldn't have done that. And the Confucius "quote" is of dubious heritage. I don't think Confucius knew words like "butt". :) hmm.. need some constructive criticism.... dang! I'll have to practice more.
