Whatever...it's quite clever and certainly makes Dutch Dude's pictures look like real pictures...makes me wonder if Dude's pictures are in fact actually GIF to ASCII conversions? Interesting... This is about as much as I got on screen from the Dutch Dude's posting the rest never appeared and any keystroke just terminated the program. I have now tried it on Veronica's recent big posting of big pictures and it works well on those provided you feed it each picture separately...not the whole file. It really does look like a very useful program for turning GIF-to-ASCII conversions back to GIFs. What is definitely needed is an option to save the output from ASC2PIC.EXE to a file...I haven't yet tried simple piping using the DOS '>' filter. Bye,
