I'm a big fan of the OBEY/GIANT stuff myself too.  I live in Chula
Vista, which is outside of San Diego, so I've seen my share of the
stickers and posters up around town.

I think that now Shepard has actually moved back to LA (or at least
the business part of his 'enterprise,' if you could call it that,
has).  Regardless, the guy's an awesome artist.  There's something
about it that brings out the true "big city - ghetto" feeling --
reminds me of when I used to live in Japan (where, by the way, it's
also a big thing in certain parts of town).  I'm totally supportive of
this type of art and love seeing it around town.  A true modern
artist's triumph, if such a thing exists.
