Actually I didn't really thought it worth trying because there are so
many useful editors and the "new ascii editors" usually didn't work 
really well (excluding Meph's Editor of course).

In a lazy moment I stumbled over this again and found it surprisingly 
good! I like to overall design and the speed: I can actually draw as I 
would e.g. in Emacs (or Notepad or whatever) plus some nice tools. 

I think most of the tools should be very helpfull for beginners whereas 
even someone who is happy with another editor should find some usefull
tricks (the transparent copy, the very good implememtation of
an Image2Ascii converter, the eraser, etc., etc.).

Conclusion: if you also didn't even try it because of previous bad 
experiences with other "new editors", this is different!
