 I was shortly before skipping this whole thread, when I suddlenly read
this:

 Thats the main problem with the usenet _at all_, not just with aaa. You
have this proplem _everywhere_. When it comes to the nettiquette, some
people start getting narrowminded and say things like "Hey, usenet is
free - so why should I stick to any rules?!?"... And somehow that
people are getting more, it seems to me.

 I feel very pleased that you kept that chart 8-) And even more that you
like it. It showes me that I didn't do it for nothing... One thing - I
can't quite remember, but wasn't I told to stick to alf as tag for Alf
was someone else? Just curious, I can't quite remember myself *blushes*

 As mentioned above - I feel pleased :) And so I don't mind at all.
Only, if you don't mind that I'll be using your version in the future ;)

    ASCII Character Table The numbers show you the hex-code of
    ===================== the characters (e.g. the letter 'C' has
       xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx     the code 43).
   `.  0123456789ABCDEF
     `,----------------. Only the characters that you can find
   2x | !"#$%&'()*+,-./|. in this box are called ASCII, you
   3x |0123456789:;<=>?||   shouldn't use any other.
   4x |@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNO||
   5x |PQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_|| Also you should see this as a box.
   6x |`abcdefghijklmno|| If you don't then you have to change
   7x |pqrstuvwxyz{|}~ ||   to a fixed-width font (e.g. COURIER).
      `----------------'|
       `----------------' Use only these characters and you will
                   [alf] have more fun in news:alt.ascii-art

 Well, I've changed it again, so it's even again a little bit smaller ;)

 And one thing - I will in a short while be able to contribute here a
little more often once I've managed to install a small newsserver on my
new notebook *giggles*

 Have fun in the y2k!! And _no_, it's _not_ the new millenium, take a
close look at yesterdays userfriendly comic:
