But that costs me money. I have to pay $4 per Mb for all outgoing
_and_ incoming traffic...and I'm a real cheapskate.  *8-)

That's the one...right on the button !  :-)

I've now started doing daily backups on to floppies of any files I 
really feel I want to keep because I have now had 3 crashes
on two machines. On the first 2 crashes I was able access the hard
disk and grab what I wanted before reformatting...but not this time.
Even the Gurus couldn't access it after trying for 4 hours. :-(

Mind you I have also lost data on floppies which have proved unrecoverable.
Storage of data by electronic media is not reliable...hard copy in
print is essential for really vital stuff...but you can't do a hard
copy of a binary or executable.

OK...now someone should do a picture of a hard disk crash.
