These new batch files are a big improvement because all of them
will now deliver an output file after I added the string

                      >> %1.out

to each file to pipe the output from the file BOX to BOX.OUT which gave:

No more problems with that excessively long DOS command line. :-)

I doubt whether much more can be done with this program because the
CW90 and CCW90 rotations are never going to look right due to the
columns/rows aspect ratio of computer screens. Those two rotations
are of doubtful practical use anyway!

Great job with ASC-TOOL.EXE sir...I've been waiting about 4 years
for Joshua Bell's code to be MS-DOS-ified. A very useful little
program for reversals and mirror images. :-)

Well I reckon you have got things all sorted out now although it was/is
not necessary to rename the files to TR-386.EXE etc etc because the
original files TR.EXE and SED.EXE work perfectly well once that CWSDPMI.EXE
file is present.

Anyway, what you put in your final package is over to you. I just diddle
my copies of the batch files to suit my particular way of working them
including piping the output from MYFILE to MYFILE.OUT instead of writing
the output to the screen...not every user will want to do that however.

Thanks for all your time and effort once again. :-)
