Thats what I though.

That is a bit missleading.  Less than 0.4% of pot smokers in America
are convicted.  Their are key stats missing from that number to give
it meaining.   Like what percentage of Au women actually file
charges.  The info you provided says

Which is not at all the same as:
    Did you know that in recent official govt stats in NSW, Australia
    only 0.4% of sexual assault charges result in conviction?

Normally the biggest issue in dealing with domestic violance (which
was the topic before sexual assault) is getting people to report it.
The second biggest problem is getting the abused person to file
charges.

Educating men on not being assholes doesn't fix that.  Educating
victems on how to stop being victems does fix that.  Twenty minute
waiting periods for women to buy fire arms also help. :)
