The subset of ASCII used here only specifies the character set, not the font. You need a fixed width font for it to look right, one where every character uses the same amout of space. Variable width fonts, where an I uses less space than a W, will not work. The Courier fonts work well in both Windows and X-Windows. So for OS-X that should be an option. Bob McConnell N2SPP
