Thanks for the information, but something couldn't be right. I have a list with all free german uni newsserver and none allow postings. Nevertheless I have tried the german servers on your lists, but all send me a '404-posting not allowed' message. Possibly I should use a foreign server, but I haven't found a fast one (download of 100 groupheaders has needed 3 minutes ... then I have canceled). Could you recommend a server (possibly in europe) ? Marc Note: Please don't use the UZS...@ibm.rhrz.uni-bonn.de mail account longer. Please leave away the 'ibm.rhrz.', because the old ibm server goes offline.
