Kermit Krab is a hermit crab. Hermit crabs have 5 pairs of legs. The ASCII *is* inaccurate in that the legs are not to scale: the 4th and 5th pairs of legs of a hermit crab are quite reduced in size in comparison to the other three pairs. This reduction in size allows it to grasp the interiors of the shells it appropriates to live in. Other errors in the artwork are that real hermit crabs have only one large grasping claw in the first pair, and that the abdomen should extend beyound the last pair of claws. But I took a bit of artistic license there. That's why he's a "Krab" and not a "crab". ** Captain Infinity ...the *real* point you should have made is, why does a crab have the head of a muppet frog? *That's* an interesting story.
